The University of Oregon is making KN95 masks available starting today, Tuesday, January 18, for faculty, staff, and students who do not have access to this type of mask. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has updated its guidance to encourage individuals to use the highest-protective quality mask available to them that that fits them well and that they will wear consistently.

Members of the UO faculty, staff, and student body can pick up three KN95 masks by showing their UO ID card at the following locations:

  • EMU - O Desk
  • Lillis – Atrium reception desk
  • Knight Library – Check out and reserve desk
  • Tykeson Hall - Welcome desk
  • Price Science Commons – Service desk

Masks will be provided on a first-come, first-serve basis. They will be replenished as additional mask orders arrive.
