Fall Protection Safety Program

The objective of this program is to help ensure that all UO employees are protected from fall exposures when working on unguarded elevated surfaces.

A safe and successful fall protection program requires preplanning. This includes identifying anticipated fall exposures in the workplace, selecting appropriate controls for the exposures, providing training for authorized employees, ensuring a fall rescue plan is in place, and documenting actions taken.
