The University of Oregon is updating its Natural Hazard Mitigation Plan which identifies actions that can be taken to reduce the impact of future natural hazards. This plan covers the following natural hazards: Earthquake, Extreme Heat, Flood, Landslide, Tsunami, Wildfire, Windstorm, and Winter Storm. Maintaining this plan provides the University of Oregon access to federal grants to fund mitigation projects in the future.
