Campus Safety includes providing police and security services, emergency planning and response, as well as informing individuals about personal safety services available. 

Safety of Physical Spaces

Safety and Risk Services leads efforts to maintain safety in classrooms, research laboratories and other physical spaces on campus. Part of this effort includes systematic evaluation of vulnerabilities based on expertise by law enforcement, fire protection, security and risk management professionals. 

Personal Safety

When considering situational awareness, it's also recommended to learn about night safety and the safety escort service available by UOPD as well as the emergency procedures when there may be emergency notices to communiate quickly about a situation.
