Safety and Risk Services offers training about how individuals, families and even work groups can prepare for the possibility of a natural disaster and a period of time following the event when there may be disruptions to power, gas, transportation, communication networks and other services.

Personal Preparedness Training
Emergency Management and Continuity provides training in personal emergency preparedness, including proper earthquake response and assembling 72-hour home emergency kits.
EMC also provides worksite safety protocols and procedures training for departments and units within the university, so that offices and classrooms can remain safe and respond effectively in an emergency.
