Friday, April 4  3 p.m.

The University of Oregon Police Department and local public safety agencies will hold an “active violent incident” training April 7-9 at Matthew Knight Arena. 

Fire vehicles, ambulances and police cars will move to and from the east end of the arena between 7 a.m. and noon. Lights and sirens will not be used and there should be few disruptions to the public. Most of the training will be within the arena and away from public view to minimize concern.

Conducting the training over the three days will enable more participation from emergency personnel from each of the public safety agencies.
