At 3:35 a.m., Saturday morning, a person was transported to the hospital for injuries after being hit in the head by a metal baton-like object at the Student Manor Apartments at 18th and Agate. The victim was located at 19th and Emerald. There were also reports of gun shots being heard. The victim and suspect know each other. 

The suspect is described as a white male, bald, wearing all black, last seen running south on Agate St.
