Safety, Risk, and Resilience Student Advisory Committee

Safety, Risk, and Resilience Student Advisory Committee members serve as liaisons between UO students and Safety and Risk Services. They promote safety, preparedness, training, and organize outreach events to connect Safety and Risk Services, staff and programs with UO students. Position responsibilities include:

  • Promote a safe campus culture that is future-ready, risk aware, and not risk-averse
  • Provide insight, feedback and advice to the programs within Safety and Risk Services
  • Participate in training, outreach, events
  • Represent the student body
  • Attend regularly scheduled meetings throughout the academic year

Through SRRSAC membership, you will further develop your leadership, communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills. The SRRSAC is a great way for students to meet like-minded individuals, grow as leaders, and make a lasting impact on campus. Committee members also have the opportunity to participate in trainings and professional development.

The SRRSAC meets monthly from October-June. Board members serve a one-year term (October-June) and may be re-appointed for a second one-year term.

We are currently accepting applications for the Safety, Risk, and Resilience Student Advisory Committee with new members starting in fall term 2022.

The Safety, Risk, and Resilience Student Advisory Committee Application is due by October 28, 2022.
